07047980 WHITE RIVER AT ELKINS, ARK.
LOCATION - Lat 36°00'03", long 94°00'13" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SE 1/4 sec.01, T.15 N., R.29 W., Washington County, AR, Hydrologic Unit 11010001, on left downstream side of bridge, about 5.0 miles upstream of Lake Sequoyah.
DRAINAGE AREA - 184 mi².  
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Miscellaneous measurements 1957-1963, and 1987-1988.  Jan 2018 to present by the U.S. Geological Survey
GAGE - Water-stage Recorder.  The datum of gage is 1185.81 ft above NAVD of 1988, (Reference Frame NAD_83 (2011) (EPOCH:2010.0000) GEOID18).  

Prior to January 16, 2024 the datum of gage was 1176.64 ft above NAVD of 1988.  RP 1 (27.330 ft) was incorrectly referenced for datum tie-in.

Prior to May 2018 no datum was assigned.
