LOCATION - Lat 38°50'14", long 104°49'44" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.18, T.14 S., R.66 W., El Paso County, CO, Hydrologic Unit 11020003, on left bank 325 ft downstream from bridge on Bijou Street at Colorado Springs, 250 ft east of Interstate 25, and 0.7 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 235 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR-US-2007: 2003 (maximum daily precipitation).
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - April 2003 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry and crest-stage gage. Elevation of gage is 5,980 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map. Prior to May 7, 2009, at site 75 ft upstream on left bank at same datum.
REMARKS - Water year 2014; records fair except for flows above 500 ft³/s, and estimated daily discharges, which are poor.
