LOCATION - Lat 38°30'08.1", long 104°36'23.2" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in sec.07, T.18 S., R.64 W., Pueblo County, CO, Hydrologic Unit 11020003, on right bank 1.0 mi upstream from Young Hollow, 2.9 mi southeast of Wigwam, and 5.5 mi north of Pinon.
DRAINAGE AREA - 793 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - April 2013 to January 2014 (discontinued).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry. Elevation of gage is 5,000 ft above NAVD of 1988, from Global Positioning System technology.
REMARKS - Water year 2014; records fair except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Natural flow of stream affected by storage reservoirs, power developments, groundwater withdrawals, transmountain diversions, diversions for irrigation and municipal use, return flows from irrigated areas, and flows from sewage-treatment plants.
