LOCATION - Lat 38°14'44", long 104°29'09" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NE 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.06, T.21 S., R.63 W., Pueblo County, CO, Hydrologic Unit 11020002, approximately mid-span of upstream side of upstream bridge on U.S. Highway 50 Business, 1.6 mi west of Vineland, and 3.0 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 474 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1978 to current year. Records for October 1967 to September 1974 (discharge measurements only prior to March 1968), published as St. Charles River near Vineland (station 07108800) at site 2.6 mi upstream, are not equivalent because of tributary inflow.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 4,581.58 ft above NGVD of 1929, (Colorado Division of Highways benchmark). Prior to May 10, 2001, at site 80 ft downstream on right bank at same datum. May 11, 2001 to Aug. 7, 2007, at site 80 ft downstream on left bank at same datum.
