LOCATION - Lat 36°51'07", long 99°18'54" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.02, T.27 N., R.20 W., Harper County, OK, Hydrologic Unit 11050001, near left bank on downstream side of pier of U.S. Highway 64, 0.5 mi downstream from Keno Creek, 17.0 mi northeast of Buffalo, and at mile 289.1.
DRAINAGE AREA - 12,205 mi² of which 4,028 mi² probably is noncontributing. from automated delineation using 10-meter National Elevation Dataset digital elevation model data dated 10/01/2006 and Watershed Boundary Dataset dated 10/01/2006, using Albers Equal-Area Projection, North American Datum 1983.
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR 2012: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 1960 to September 1994, October 2001 to June 2013, October 2013 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 1600.15 feet above NAVD of 1988. The NAVD of 1988 datum was determined by a Level II GNSS survey (Reference Frame NAD_83(2011) (EPOCH:2010.0000) ITRF2014 (EPOCH:2022.5908) (GEOID18) by USGS on 8/22/2022 and tied to RM-4. Prior to 8/22/2022 the datum of gage was 1599.67 ft above NGVD of 1929. From Oct. 1, 1979 to May 1960, at a site 6.9 mi upstream at elevation 1650 ft.
REMARKS - 10/01/2022 - 09/30/2023: records poor. Quality of data for other periods can be obtained by contacting the Oklahoma-Texas Water Science Center. 
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum gage height for current site and datum, 9.74 ft. May 9, 2019. Maximum discharge for current site and datum, 12,100 cfs May 27, 1987.  At previous site and datum, maximum gage height 5.57 ft. Sept. 26, 1973. No flow many years.
