WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD -

WATER TEMPERATURE: October 1988 to July 2023. Sonde was removed July 2023 (temporarily) due to ongoing construction activities.

SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE: October 1988 to July 2023. Sonde was removed July 2023 (temporarily) due to ongoing construction activities.

pH: October 1988 to June 1991.

DISSOLVED OXYGEN: October 1988  to July 2023. Sonde was removed July 2023 (temporarily) due to ongoing construction activities.

REMARKS -

Accuracy rating of the record for the 2023 Water Year:

WATER TEMPERATURE: Good; various data gaps occurred throughout the year due to an equipment malfunctions and threshold suppressions. This sensor underwent NIST checks on a quarterly basis, and one cross section survey was completed to verify stream mixing and sonde placement. On 07/31/2023, the water quality monitor was temporarily removed from the site due to ongoing construction activities disrupting monitoring capabilities. No data was collected between 07/31/2023 - 09/30/2023.

SPECIFIC CONDUCTIVITY: Good; Fouling and calibration drift corrections applied consistently throughout the year, but numerous data gaps, equipment malfunctions, and deletions reduced overall accuracy. On 07/31/2023, the water quality monitor was temporarily removed from the site due to ongoing construction activities disrupting monitoring capabilities. No data was collected between 07/31/2023 - 09/30/2023.

DISSOLVED OXYGEN: Poor; Several fouling and calibration drift corrections were applied throughout the year; large data corrections and portions of missing or deleted data reduced the overall accuracy. Efforts are being made by the QW team to increase the frequency of site visits to improve data quality and minimize fouling effects. On 07/31/2023, the water quality monitor was temporarily removed from the site due to ongoing construction activities disrupting monitoring capabilities. No data was collected between 07/31/2023 - 09/30/2023.

Quality of data for other periods can be obtained by contacting the Oklahoma-Texas Water Science Center.
