SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1988 to current year.
GAGE - -Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 1110.01 above NAVD of 1988  determined by  GNSS Level II Survey using Alltera network with RTK Trimble R-10 tied to RM-1 by USGS Personnel on 07-31-2019. Prior to 07-31-2019 datum of gage was 1,109.40 ft above NGVD of 1929.
REMARKS - 10/01/2022- 09/30/2023: records fair with moderate wind affect. Flow regulated by Canton Lake (station 07238500) and Lake Overholser (station 07240500) where diversions are made into Lake Hefner Canal (station 07240000), and by several small dams in Oklahoma City. Low flow sustained in part by sewage effluent. Quality of data for other periods can be obtained by contacting the Oklahoma-Texas Water Science Center.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum stage 24.80ft, May 9, 1993. Maximum discharge 38,100 ft3/s , May 9, 1993.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD -

WATER TEMPERATURE: October 1988 to current year

SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE: October 1988 to current year

pH: October 1988 to June 1991

DISSOLVED OXYGEN: October 1988 to current year

REMARKS -

Accuracy rating of the record for the 2023 Water Year:

WATER TEMPERATURE: Good; Some spike deletions were applied. Several large data gaps occurred gaps occurred. The sensor underwent NIST checks on a quarterly basis, and one EWI cross-section survey was completed within this water year.

SPECIFIC CONDUCTIVITY: Good; Fouling and calibration drift corrections were applied throughout the year. Several data gaps occurred in relation to equipment malfunctions, data deletions, threshold suppressions, and the water quality monitor being out of water.

DISSOLVED OXYGEN: Poor; Some large fouling and few calibration drift corrections were applied consistently throughout the year. Several data gaps occurred in relation to equipment malfunctions, data deletions, threshold suppressions, and the water quality monitor being out of water.

Interruptions in record were due to malfunctions of the recording instrumentation or corrections to the data that exceeded allowable limits.

Quality of data for other periods can be obtained by contacting the Oklahoma-Texas Water Science Center.
