LOCATION - Lat 32°57'29", long 91°00'27" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Issaquena County, MS, Hydrologic Unit 08030209, Choctaw Meridian.
DRAINAGE AREA - Drainage area is indeterminate.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS

REMARKS - Discharge data are considered poor due to number of days requiring estimation and poor definition of the low end of the rating. Daily discharges compared to USGS station 07288847, Steele Bayou near Grace, to ensure hydrologic consistency.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS

PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD -
TURBIDITY: October 2010 to September 2014.
WATER TEMPERATURE: October 2010 to current year.
INSTRUMENTATION - Water-Quality pumping samplers, stage and water-quality monitoring of water temperature and turbidity since October 2010.
REMARKS - Turbidity records rated poor. Water Temperature records rated good. Interruptions in the record were due to malfunctions of the instrument. Turbidity data used to compute daily turbidity record were measured in-situ in unfiltered stream water using near IR LED light technology, 780-900 NM, and a detection angle of 90 degrees. Daily turbidity data are reported in Formazin Nephelometric Units (FNU).
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD - TURBIDITY: Maximum, 1,310 FNU, April 15, 2011; minimum, <5.0 FNU, on many days. WATER TEMPERATURE: Maximum, 36.5 °C, July 31, 2012; minimum, 5.2 °C, Feb. 5, 2011.
