LOCATION - Lat 34°47'40", long 98°22'07" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.28, T.4 N., R.11 W., Comanche County, OK, Hydrologic Unit 11130202, near right end of dam on East Cache Creek, 4 miles west of Elgin and at mile 59.9.
DRAINAGE AREA - 249 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1995 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 0.64ft  NAVD of 1988 determined by GNSS 4hr observation Survey with Trimble R-12i tied to RM-3 by USGS Personnel on 10/03/2023.
REMARKS -

10/01/2022 - 09/30/2023: records fair.

Reservoir is formed by concrete dam. Storage began in 1964. Capacity, 189,200 acre-ft, gage height 1,250.00 ft, top of dam; and 72,490 acre-ft, gage height 1,235.00 ft, top of gates; 25,730 acre-ft, gage height 1,225.00 ft, top of spillway. Reservoir is used for recreation. U.S. Geological Survey satellite telemeter at station.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum contents, 92,460 acre-ft, May 24, 2015, gage height 1,238.09 ft. Minimum contents, 8,630 acre-ft, Sept. 29,30, Oct. 1, 2004, gage height, 1,219.50 ft.
