LOCATION - Lat 34°01'36", long 95°45'00" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SE 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.17, T.6 S., R.15 E., Choctaw County, OK, Hydrologic Unit 11140103, at bridge on U.S. Highway 70, 3.5 mi west of Soper, 1.8 mi east of Unger and at mile 18.6.
DRAINAGE AREA - 2,262 mi². from automated delineation using 10-meter National Elevation Dataset digital elevation model data dated 10/01/2006 and Watershed Boundary Dataset dated 10/01/2006, using Albers Equal-Area Projection, North American Datum 1983.
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR 2012: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - August 1982 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 393.23ft above NAVD of 1988 determined by GNSS Level II Survey using Alltera network with RTK Trimble R-10 tied to RM-5 by USGS Personnel on 08/16/2022. Prior to 08/16/2022 Datum of gage was 392.72 ft above NGVD of 1929. Prior to Sept. 19, 1985, gage 500 ft downstream at same datum.
REMARKS -

10/01/2022 - 09/30/2023: records rated good.

Flow regulated at times by Atoka and McGee Creek Reservoirs and numerous flood retarding structures on the Muddy Boggy and Clear Boggy.
