LOCATION - Lat 32°48'26", long 96°48'08" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Dallas County, TX, Hydrologic Unit 12030105, on left bank 275 ft northeast of the intersection of Turtle Creek Boulevard and Hall Street, 140 ft upstream of Hall Street and 60 ft upstream of dam on Turtle Creek.
DRAINAGE AREA - 7.98 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Water years 1947 to 1951 (annual maximum), Oct. 1951 to Sept. 1980, Apr. 1984 to Sept. 1991, June 2010 to current year. Daily discharge records for Apr. 1948 to Sept. 1951, published in WSP 1392, are unreliable and should not be used. PERIOD OF RECORD, Water-Quality.-- CHEMICAL DATA: Jan. 1969. GAGE - Water-stage recorder and concrete control. Datum of gage is 428.13 ft above NGVD of 1929, 428.10 ft above NAVD of 1988. Prior to Dec. 17, 1951, at site 52 ft upstream at same datum. Satellite telemeter at station.
REMARKS - Flow is slightly affected by eight small on-channel dams above station. No flow at times.
