08075780 Greens Bayou at Cutten Road near Houston, TX
LOCATION - Lat 29°56'56", long 95°31'10" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Harris County, TX, Hydrologic Unit 12040104, at downstream side of bridge on Cutten Road, 7 mi upstream from station Greens Bayou near U.S. Highway 75 near Houston (station No. 08075900), and about 16.4 mi northwest of the main post office in downtown Houston.
DRAINAGE AREA - 8.65 mi². Measured on USGS topographic maps, Harris County flood control plans, levels and field inspections to determine effects of drainage ditch construction were used as an aid in determining basin boundaries.
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR TX-05: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Aug. 1964 to current year (annual maximum discharge).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is mean sea level, NAVD of 1988, 2001 adjustment. Prior to Oct. 1, 2010, datum of gage is NGVD of 1929, 1957 adjustment (4.75 ft above current datum). Satellite telemeter at station.
