LOCATION - Lat 32°23'11", long 97°39'08" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Hood County, TX, Hydrologic Unit 12060201, 2.40 mi downstream of De Cordova Bend Dam at Monticello Drive in Pecan Plantation.
DRAINAGE AREA - 25,762 mi² of which 9,566 mi² probably is noncontributing.  
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Dec. 2000, June 2011 to July 2012 (miscellaneous discharge measurements), July 2012 to current year (daily mean discharges less than 1,000 ft³s).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 612.61 ft above NAVD of 1988. Prior to Mar. 24, 2023, datum was erroneously reported as 624.00 ft above NAVD of 1988. Satellite telemeter at station.
REMARKS - Since installation of gage, at least 10% of drainage area has been regulated. Flow entirely regulated by De Cordova Bend Dam on the Brazos River located 2.40 mi upstream.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum gage-height, 35.03 ft, June 2, 2016; minimum daily discharge, 2.0 ft³s, May 11, 2014.
