LOCATION - Lat 31°17'05", long 97°53'05" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Coryell County, TX, Hydrologic Unit 12070202, on left bank on upstream side of bridge on Farm Road 116, 0.1 mi downstream from Bee House Creek, 0.6 mi northeast of Pidcoke, 4.9 mi upstream from Table Rock Creek, and 34.6 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 455 mi².

Water-stage recorder.  Satellite telemetry at station.

Datum of gage: 736.899 ft NAVD88 based on a Level 2 Static GNSS survey processed through OPUS with Ref Frame NAD83 (2011)(EPOCH:2010.0000)  ITRF2014 (EPOCH:2020.7699) and Geoid 18.  The survey was completed on 10/8/2020 while occupying a TRM referenced to local datum via differential levels. 

Prior to 10/8/2020 the datum of the gage was 736.71 ft NGVD29 as determined by levels. 

REMARKS - Records poor. No known regulation or diversions. No flow at times. Some records listed in the "Period of Record" for surface water and water quality may not be available electronically.
EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum stage since at least 1882, occurred in 1900 and 1944 (stage about 37.5 ft), from information by local residents.
