LOCATION - Lat 29°23'29.90", long 98°29'58.83" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Bexar County, TX, Hydrologic Unit 12100301, on right bank corner of E. Franciscan Ave and Probandt St. 15 ft. upstream from Probandt Street bridge in San Antonio.0.2 mi downsteam from San Antonio River.
DRAINAGE AREA - 44.7 mi², At low flow, flow of river comes from intermittent spring flow and from artesian wells.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Apr 02, 2012 to present.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder at site. Datum of gage is 578' above NAVD88. Satellite telemeter at site.
REMARKS - Record rated good for WY 2015. Since installation of gage in Feb. 2012, at least 10% of contributing drainage area has been regulated. Seeps emerge intermittently from the gravels upstream from station. Some records listed in the "Period of Record" for surface water and water quality may not be available electronically.
