LOCATION - Lat 29°19'19", long 98°27'00" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Bexar County, TX, Hydrologic Unit 12100301, on right bank between westbound bridges on Interstate Highway 410 in San Antonio, 4.5 mi upstream from Salado Creek, and 222.3 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 125 mi². at low-flow, flow of river comes from intermittent springflow and artesian wells.
