LOCATION - Lat 29°21'25", long 98°24'45" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Bexar County, TX, Hydrologic Unit 12100301, on right bank at upstream side of bridge on Loop 13 at San Antonio, 1.4 mi east of Brooks Air Force Base, and 3.3 mi upstream from Rosillo Creek.
DRAINAGE AREA - 189 mi².

REMARKS - Several small diversions above station. Most of low flow comes from artesian wells and springs within the city of San Antonio. Some records listed in the "Period of Record" for surface water and water quality may not be available electronically.
EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Floods of Sept. 27, 1946, and Aug. 15, 1960, were about equal magnitude. Flood of Aug. 15, 1960, reached a stage of 26.8 ft, from floodmarks.
