LOCATION - Lat 32°51'16.83", long 107°58'25.64" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Grant County, NM, Hydrologic Unit 13030202, on right bank 100 ft downstream from Willow Springs Canyon, 0.3 mi east Mimbres, 1.1 mi downstream from Shepard Canyon, 2.5 mi downstream from Bear Canyon, and at mile 73.1.
DRAINAGE AREA - 184 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 1978 to June 2013 and August 2014 to current.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry and crest-stage gage. Elevation of gage is 5,920 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map. Prior to Jan. 17, 1979, at site 100 ft upstream at datum 2.29 ft higher. Prior to Mar. 3, 1993, at site 100 ft upsteam at same datum.
REMARKS - Water year 2014; records poor. Water years 2015-2017; records good except for estimated discharges, which are poor. Water years 2018-2019; records poor.
