LOCATION - Lat 39°11'48.8", long 106°49'08.1" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Pitkin County, CO, Hydrologic Unit 14010004, on left downstream wingwall of Red Mountain Road bridge, 800 ft upstream from confluence with Roaring Fork River, in Aspen.
DRAINAGE AREA - 43.1 mi².

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - March to June 1911 and January to November 1912 (monthly discharge only, published in WSP 1313), April to October 1913 (gage heights and discharge measurements only), September 2009 to December 2013. GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry and crest-stage gage. Elevation of gage is 7,840 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map. Prior to September 2009, nonrecording gage at site 400 ft downstream at different datum.
