LOCATION - Lat 38°59'27.8", long 111°15'13.99" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 NW 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.21, T.21 S., R.6 E., Emery County, UT, Hydrologic Unit 14070002, on left bank 0.7 mi upstream from Emery Canal.
DRAINAGE AREA - 105 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 1633: Drainage area. Prior to Jan 26, 2022, the datum of the gage was 6,400 ft. above NGVD of 1929 from a topographic map. 
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - April to July 1909, July 1910 to July 1914, June 1949 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 6,505.49 ft. above NAVD of 1988 from a Level II GNSS survey conducted on Sep 23, 2019. April 29 to July 31, 1909, reference point. July 23, 1910 to July 16, 1914, staff gages, at sites about 1 mi upstream at different datums. June 29, 1949 to Nov 12, 2009 at different datum 600 ft downstream of current location and 100 ft upstream of past location of head of Emery Canal. Nov 12, 2009 to Apr 8, 2010 at different datum 200 ft upstream of past location of head of Emery Canal, from Nov 19,2013 to present time at present datum .9 miles upstream of the emery canal.
REMARKS - Records generally good except for estimated daily discharges which are fair to poor. One small diversion for irrigation and two storage reservoirs (total capacity 700 acre-ft) above station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 4,520 ft³/s, Aug 7, 2008, gage height, 12.16 ft, from slope area measurement at different datum; no flow Apr 13-16, 1911.
