LOCATION - Lat 36°32'07", long 114°25'42" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.19, T.16 S., R.68 E., Clark County, NV, Hydrologic Unit 15010012, east of State Route 169, on Lewis Avenue in Overton, NV, upstream of Overton Wash, and 5.75 mi upstream from Lake Mead.
DRAINAGE AREA - 6,940 mi² of which 3,700 mi² probably is noncontributing.
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR NV-99-1: 1998. The maximum gage height and discharge for water year 2003 was removed on June 21, 2021 as the collected data was only for part of the year. 

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Aug 1997 to Oct. 2017. Discontinued Oct. 2017.  Data prior to Aug. 2007 and after Oct. 2017 available from the Southern Nevada Water Authority.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 1,251 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (Southern Nevada Water Authority).
COOPERATION - Records prior to Aug. 2007 were provided by Southern Nevada Water Authority.
REMARKS -

Many diversions upstream of gage.  10/01/2013-09/30/2014: Records good except for daily discharges from Sep. 8, 2014 to Sep. 30, 2014 and estimated daily discharges, which are poor.  10/01/2014-09/30/2015: Records fair except estimated daily discharges and discharges above 150 ft³/s, which are poor.  10/01/2015-09/30/2016: Records fair except estimated daily discharges and discharges above 150 ft³/s, which are poor.  10/01/2016-09/30/2017:  Records fair except for discharges above 150 ft³/s, which are poor.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 15,500 ft³/s, Sep. 8, 2014, gage height, 11.09 ft; minimum daily, 0.82 ft³/s, June 15, 2014.
