09525500 YUMA MAIN CANAL BELOW COLORADO RIVER SIPHON, AT YUMA, AZ
LOCATION - Lat 32°43'49", long 114°37'09" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SE 1/4 NW 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.35, T.16 S., R.22 E., Yuma County, AZ, Hydrologic Unit 15030107, San Bernardino meridian (at inlet gage), on left bank 1,645 ft. downstream from center of Yuma Main Canal wasteway gates and 3.5 mi. downstream from siphon-drop powerplant. The outlet gage is on the right bank, about 50 ft below outlet of Colorado River Siphon, 200 ft. above the City of Yuma Municipal Water diversion pumps.

REMARKS - Discharge record is considered good except for estimated days, which are fair. This Record reflects the quantity of water delivered through the Colorado River Siphon for irrigation in the Valley Division of the Yuma Project and the City of Yuma municipal supply.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - 1930 to current year: Maximum daily discharge, 984 ft³/s, Oct. 9, 1992; no flow at times.
