LOCATION - Lat 38°38'11", long 119°30'23" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 SE 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.12, T.9 N., R.22 E., Mono County, CA, Hydrologic Unit 16050302, on left bank, below diversion gate, 50 ft downtream of Topaz Canal diversion, and 2 mi north of Topaz.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Aug. 2010 to Sep. 2015 (discontinued).
GAGE - Water gage recorder. Elevation of gage is 5,018 ft above above North American Vertical Datum of 1988, from digital elevation model.
REMARKS - 10/01/2013-09/30/2014: Records poor. 10/01/2014-09/30/2015: Records poor. Diversions for irrigation above station and for off-channel storage in Topaz Lake (station 10297000).
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 1,210 ft³/s estimated from rating extended above 900 ft³/s, Oct. 25, 2010, gage height, 9.43 ft; minimum daily, 0.00 ft³/s, many days Aug. and Sep. 2012 and several months throughout water year 2014.
