LOCATION - Lat 33°06'57", long 116°57'08" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, San Diego County, CA, Hydrologic Unit 18070304, on left bank, 0.3 mi upstream from Rockwood Canyon Creek, and 1.8 mi north of San Pasqual.
DRAINAGE AREA - 22.5 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - December 1946 to December 1982, October 2004 to current year. CLIMATOLOGICAL: October 2004 to September 2012.
GAGE - Water stage recorder and Parshall flume. Elevation of gage 610 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.
REMARKS - No regulation above station. Diversion for irrigation 0.2 mi upstream. Diversion upstream is cause for random sporadic fluctuations in gage height.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 4002 ft³/s, Feb. 14, 2019; maximum gage height, 7.30 ft, Feb. 14th 2019; no flow for many days in most years.
