LOCATION - Lat 34°53'01", long 120°29'38" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.06, T.9 N., R.34 W., Santa Barbara County, CA, Hydrologic Unit 18060008, on right bank, 10 ft upstream from Black Road Bridge, 0.2 mi northeast of State Highway 1, and 3.0 mi northwest of Orcutt.
DRAINAGE AREA - 18.5 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR CA-2005: 2001 (instantaneous maximum discharge).
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1982 to September 1992, October 1994 to current year. Discharge measurements only, May 8, 2014, to Sept. 30, 2014.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Elevation of gage is 160 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.
REMARKS - Discrete measurements only during period of bridge construction, May 6 to Oct. 30. No regulation or diversion upstream from station. Natural flow affected by pumping and return flow from irrigated areas.
