LOCATION - Lat 39°32'44", long 121°05'39" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SW 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.33, T.20 N., R.8 E., Yuba County, CA, Hydrologic Unit 18020125, Plumas National Forest, on left bank, 250 ft upstream from Deadwood Creek, and 1.3 mi southeast of Strawberry Valley.
DRAINAGE AREA - 2.07 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1994 to September 2004, October 2006 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and 120° V-notch weir. Elevation of gage is 3,050 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.
COOPERATION - Records provided by Hydro Sierra Energy, under general supervision of the U.S. Geological Survey, in connection with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission project no. 6780.
REMARKS - Water from creek is diverted at gage to Deadwood Creek Powerplant (station 11413326). See schematic diagram of North and Middle Yuba River Basins available from the California Water Science Center.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum daily discharge, 346 ft³/s, Jan. 1, 1997; minimum daily, 0.20 ft³/s, several days in October 2015(estimated).
