LOCATION - Lat 38°51'03", long 120°22'51" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, El Dorado County, CA, Hydrologic Unit 18020129, Eldorado National Forest, in powerplant on shore of Union Valley Reservoir and 7.0 mi west of Kyburz.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1986 to September 2015 (discontinued). Unpublished data for water years 1985-86 available in the files of the U.S. Geological Survey.
GAGE - Acoustic-velocity meter. Elevation of powerplant is 4,870 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.
COOPERATION - Records were collected by Sacramento Municipal Utility District, under general supervision of the U.S. Geological Survey, in connection with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission project no. 2101.
