LOCATION - Lat 38°53'24", long 122°14'14" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Yolo County, CA, Hydrologic Unit 18020116, in Canada de Capay Land Grant, on right bank, downstream side of Rumsey Bridge on Arbuckle Road (Road 41), 1,230 ft upstream of Brushy Creek, at Rumsey.
DRAINAGE AREA - 964 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2015 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 405.69 ft above NAVD of 1988.
REMARKS - Regulation upstream at Indian Valley Reservoir and Clear Lake for agriculture and flood control releases.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 21,470 ft³/s, January 7, 2017, gage height 13.11 ft.

REMARKS - Records of sediment discharge from December 1975 to September 1976 were obtained from the California Department of Water Resources. California Department of Water Resources has provided discharge data since December 1975. This station replaced former station 11451760 (Cache Creek above Rumsey) in September 1976 and was reestablished February 1996 for NAWQA water-quality and sediment sampling purposes.
