LOCATION - Lat 48°40'40", long 122°09'55" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.21, T.37 N., R.5 E., Whatcom County, WA, Hydrologic Unit 17110004, at Saxon Bridge, 1.3 mi downstream from Skookum Creek, and 2.5 mi northeast of Wickersham.
DRAINAGE AREA - 129 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 2007 to September 2008 (gage height only). October 2008 to current year.
GAGE - Water stage recorder. Datum of gage is 349.780 ft. above NAVD of 1988 from a level 2 GNSS survey (Reference Frame NAD_83 (2011) (EPOCH:2010.0000), GEOID18). Datum of gage is 350 ft. above NGVD 29 from river profile map.
REMARKS - Small diversion upstream of gage for fish hatchery which is returned back to the river upstream of the gage. U.S. Geological Survey satellite telemeter at station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 20,500 ft³/s, Dec. 12, 2010, gage height 8.78 ft; maximum gage height, 10.16 ft, Nov. 15, 2021; minimum daily discharge, 69.3 ft³/s, Aug. 13, 2015.
