12331500 FLINT CREEK NEAR DRUMMOND, MT
LOCATION - Lat 46°37'43.42", long 113°09'02.49" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 NW 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.18, T.10 N., R.12 W., Granite County, MT, Hydrologic Unit 17010202, on left bank 10 ft downstream from county bridge, 2.0 mi upstream from mouth, and 2.7 mi south of Drummond.
DRAINAGE AREA - 490 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - The maximum discharge and maximum gage height for water year 2013 were revised on May 1, 2021, based on reanalysis of data.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 1948 to September 1949, August 1990 to April 2003, August 2003 to September 2004, and October 2006 to current year. Monthly discharges only for some periods are published in Water Supply Paper 1316.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 4,017.27 ft, referenced to the National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. June 1948 to September 1949 at same site with different elevation. U.S. Geological Survey data collection platform with satellite telemetry at station.
REMARKS - Some regulation by Georgetown Lake (station number 12325000). Diversions for irrigation occur upstream from the station. During irrigation season, flow is supplemented by water from East Fork Rock Creek which is diverted in sec.5, T.4 N., R.14 W., 500 ft below Rock Creek Dam, through a canal into Trout Creek, thence into Flint Creek.
