LOCATION - Lat 42°36'54", long 114°27'55" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 NW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.28, T.9 S., R.17 E., Jerome County, ID, Hydrologic Unit 17040212, Twin Falls quad., 0.6 mi south from the left bank of the Snake River, 610.5 mi upstream from it's mouth, 0.6 mi south of the pipes that cross the River, and 0.4 mi south of Canyon Springs Golf Course club house.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - April 2001 to September 2008. (discontinued)
COOPERATION - City of Twin Falls.
REMARKS - Records are fair. Pumping plant has four pumps diverting flow from the head of the spring into two main pipes (East and West). Daily discharge for this site represents the combined flow from both pipes, and is combined with the flow for Blue Lakes Spring below Pumping Plant (station 13090999) to determine total flow for Blue Lakes Spring (station 13091000).
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum daily discharge, 33 ft³/s July 20, 2005, July 9, 2008; no flow at times most years.
