LOCATION - Lat 44°25'37.4", long 121°13'54.2" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NW 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.24, T.13 S., R.12 E., Jefferson County, OR, Hydrologic Unit 17070305, on left bank, 6.3 mi south of Culver and at mile 13.5.
DRAINAGE AREA - 4,520 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR-US-2012: 2012.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2003 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Elevation of gage is 2,190 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.
REMARKS - Flow regulated by Prineville and Ochoco Reservoirs (combined active capacity, 188,200 acre-ft). Summer flow and storage upstream from Prineville diverted for irrigation. Continuous water-quality records for period November 2003 to September 2006 have been collected at this location.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 3,510 ft³/s Mar. 22, 2017, gage height, 8.64 ft; minimum discharge, 57 ft³/s July 6-8, 27, 2021, July 30, 2022.
