LOCATION - Lat 45°25'51", long 122°40'21" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.42, T.2 S., R.1 E., Clackamas County, OR, Hydrologic Unit 17090012, on left bank, 0.8 mi north of Lake Oswego and at mile 1.0.
DRAINAGE AREA - 6.28 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - August 2001 to current year. Prior to October 2007, published as "below Nettle Creek, near Lake Oswego."
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Elevation of gage is 95 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map. Prior to Apr. 22, 2010, at site 200 ft upstream at different datum.
REMARKS - No known regulation or diversion upstream from station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 1,520 ft³/s (estimated) Jan. 12, 2021, gage height, 6.35 ft; maximum gage height, 7.60 ft Jan. 2, 2009, site and datum then in use; minimum discharge, 0.05 ft³/s Sept. 7, 8, 2020, but may have been less during periods of temporary diversion upstream from station for channel improvement for fish habitat and passage September 2008.
