LOCATION - Lat 61°53'24", long 158°09'16" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SE 1/4 SW 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.19, T.21 N., R.48 W., Bethel Division, AK, Hydrologic Unit 19030501, (Sleetmute D-6 quad) on right bank 3 miles upstream from the mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 330 mi². Area at site prior to July 2, 2008 was 333 mi².

GAGE - Water stage recorder. Datum of gage is 150.02 ft NAVD88. Prior to July 2, 2008 at airport bridge 3 miles downstream at different datum. GOES satellite telemetry at station.

SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE: Records represent specific conductance at sensor within 5 µs/cm or 3% of the measured value, whichever is greater. 

River is well mixed at the gage during open water periods.

WATER TEMPERATURE: Maximum, 16.1°C, July 05, 2019. Minimum, 0.0°C many days during winter.
