LOCATION - Lat 21°24'17.6", long 157°51'01.6" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Honolulu County, HI, Hydrologic Unit 20060000, on roof of Halawa portal control center, 3.2 mi west of Kaneohe Post Office, and 2.4 mi southwest of Ahuimanu School.
CLIMATOLOGICAL RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Continuous-record station, July 1998 to current year.
INSTRUMENTATION - An 8 inch tipping bucket raingage with an axiliary non-standard 7 5/16 inch collection can. Raingage collector is about 6 ft. above base of gage house. Elevation of the gage is 1,100 ft above mean sea level (from topographic map).
REMARKS - Rainfall recorded in hundredths of an inch.
