LOCATION - Lat 25°35'39.0", long 80°28'43.2" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.01, T.56 S., R.38 E., Miami-Dade County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090202, at southwest corner of Eureka Drive and State Road 997 (Krome Avenue), 8.7 mi north of Homestead.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 33 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 12.4 ft, bottom of last opening 33 ft. Open hole well. Open interval measures 12.4 to 12.5 ft. See REMARKS.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 9.90 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Top of base, 2.6 ft above land-surface datum, Mar. 13, 2008, to Mar. 2015.
PERIOD OF RECORD - January 1956 to March 2015. Discontinued.
GAGE - Electronic data logger.
REMARKS - Records of water levels prior to October 1973 are available in files of the U.S. Geological Survey. The well was originally open to 33 ft. The open interval has collapsed or become obstructed at a depth of 12.5 ft. Tests indicate the well is in good communication with the aquifer.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest daily maximum water level, 9.60 ft NGVD, Sept. 10, 1960; lowest, 0.02 ft NGVD, May 13, 14, 1971.
