LOCATION - Lat 34°04'38.68", long 117°17'42.54" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in sec.00, T.1 S., R.4 W., San Bernardino County, CA, Hydrologic Unit 18070203, in Rancho Muscupiabe Grant, near Orange Show Road and E Street, at the Headquarters of the San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District, in San Bernardino.

REVISIONS HISTORY - A migrated, open ended '***' qualifier was removed from the period of 9/14/2015 22:45 to 4/5/2017 10:45. No unit values were affected by revision. Since 9/14/2015 this site is subject to surface water runoff during precipitation events and is very slow to recover after flooding. Unit values were removed from 10/25/2015 to 10/4/2017. On 2/22/2018 discrete water levels from 10/1/2015 to 12/4/2017 were recoded with an ‘M’ status.

GROUNDWATER RECORDS

WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 394.4 ft. Upper casing diameter 2 in; top of first opening 388 ft, bottom of last opening 398 ft.

DATUM - Land-surface datum is 976.44 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: Top of 2 inch PVC casing, black mark on south side (below LSD), 0.14 ft below land-surface datum, Oct. 30, 1990 to Jan. 16, 2020; Top of concrete vault (above LSD), 0.40 ft above land-surface datum, Oct. 30, 1990 to Jan. 16, 2020; Top of 2in PVC casing, 0.09 ft below land-surface datum, Jan. 16, 2020 to present.

PERIOD OF RECORD - Water year 1991 to current year.

REMARKS - This well recovers slowly from pumping, aquifer testing, or flooding from precipitation events, the cause of which is not understood. Surface water runoff from precipitation events will cause rapid increases in water level. The San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District (SBVMWD) Cluster Wells consist of five continuous record groundwater wells, located in a common ground-level vault. The individual stations are well 1S/4W-22D2, station 340439117173902; well 1S/4W-22D4, station 340439117173904; well 1S/4W-22D5, station 340439117173905; well 1S/4W-22D6, station 340439117173906; and well 1S/4W-22D7, station 340439117173907 (discrete measurements only).
