REVISIONS HISTORY - Revisions: Land-surface datum was updated to 1,389.26 ft NAVD88 on May 22, 2023, as determined by a GNSS survey by Missouri DNR. Land-surface datum was previously published as 1,385 ft NGVD29 from a topographic map. Discrete water-level measurements prior to May 22, 2023, are referenced to the original datum.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 1,389.26 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: unknown, 0.2 ft above land-surface datum, Mar. 28, 2002 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - August 24, 2000 to present.
GAGE - August 24, 2000 to present; DCP with telemetry capability. August 24, 2000 to January 24, 2006; the water level recording device was a float and encoder. January 24, 2006 to present, the water level measuring device is a vented, submersible pressure transducer.
COOPERATION - Data furnished by Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR).
REMARKS -

Data from 08/24/2000 to 01/14/2010 has been processed by the USGS with limited field water level measurements (18 measurements) made during the period to verify the recorded water levels. This record is considered good, except for the period July 15, 2003 to October 05, 2003 which is fair. Since the pressure transducer was installed on January 24, 2006, a instrument drift correction is frequently needed to adjust the prior recorded data to the current water level measurement. This correction is typically less than +/- 0.2 ft.

Data from 01/14/2010 to 08/18/2010 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded water level data. The data is accurate to +/- 0.1 ft.

The record from 08/18/2010 to 08/15/2011 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded water level data. The data is accurate to +/- 0.1 ft.

The record from 08/16/2011 to 08/29/2012 is fair based on 2 water level measurements made during the period. The data is accurate to +/- 0.1 ft. Instrument drift corrections were frequently needed to adjust the prior recorded data to the current water level measurement. This correction was ranged between -0.08 ft. to -0.23 ft.

The record from 08/29/2012 to 10/01 2013 is fair based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. Pressure transducer is starting to drift off and on in either direction and probably needs replaced.

The record from 10/02/2013 to 12/10/2014 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft.Pressure transducer is drifting from +0.18 ft. to -0.44 ft. Correction needed at each visit.

The record from 12/11/2014 to 04/04/2016 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- .05 ft. Pressure transducer seemed to drift less in comparison to previous record periods. During this record period the transducer drifted from -0.02 ft. to +0.14 ft.

The record from 04/05/2016 to 09/20/2016 is good based on 2 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- .10 ft. Pressure transducer seems to consistently drift between measurements.

The record from 09/21/2016 to 04/04/2017 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- .10 ft. Pressure transducer seems to consistently drift between measurements.

The record from 04/05/2017 to 03/28/2018 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- .05 ft.

The record from 03/29/2018 to 09/24/2018 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft.

The record from 09/25/2018 to 01/09/2019 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.30 ft.

The record from 01/10/2019 to 06/24/2019 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.30 ft.

The record from 06/25/2019 to 01/08/2020 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft.

All further remarks can be found in RMS as of 01/09/2020.
