LOCATION - Lat 38°12'41.8", long 120°40'32.2" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.08, T.4 N., R.12 E., Calaveras County, CA, Hydrologic Unit 18040011, on right bank, 150 ft south of Old Stage Road, 0.17 mi from junction of Old Stage Road and Leonard Road, and 1.1 mi north of San Andreas.
CLIMATOLOGICAL RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - November 5, 2015 to October 10, 2017 (discontinued).
INSTRUMENTATION - An 8-inch Novalynx model 260-2500e dual tipping-bucket precipitation gage is located ontop of USGS stream stage gage shelter (see sta. no. 11308500, Murray c nr San Andreas, CA). The top of the collection funnel is 8 feet above the ground surface and is not equipped with a wind shied. Rainfall is recorded at a resolution of 0.01-inch.
