LOCATION - Lat 41°43'30.8", long 75°15'30.9" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Wayne County, PA, Hydrologic Unit 02040103, at State Game Land No. 159.

GROUNDWATER RECORDS

WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 52 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 52 ft, bottom of last opening 52 ft.

Drilled observation well, open on bottom of casing.

DATUM - Land-surface datum is 1,338 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: TOP OF PLYWOOD SHELF; VALUE FROM LATER MP REC; CREATED FOR AQ MIGRATION; MOD DATE; 10/7/1968, 3.92 ft above land-surface datum, Jun. 1, 1967 to May. 7, 1987; top of plywood shelf, 3.92 ft above land-surface datum, May. 7, 1987 to May. 16, 2013; top of recorder shelf, 1.11 ft above land-surface datum, May. 15, 2013 to present. Prior to May 7, 1987, top of plywood cover, measuring point above land-surface datum varied. Elevation of land surface is from Lidar.

PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1967 to current year.

REMARKS -

Daily maximum water-level data collected prior to May 7, 1987 were referenced to an uncertain datum elevation that cannot be related to any datum after that date. Daily maximum water levels are available for this well for the period of record. For some years, daily minimum and daily mean water levels may also be available from the USGS Pennsylvania Water Science Center Office. Daily maximum water-level data collected prior to May 7, 1987 were referenced to an uncertain datum that cannot be related to any datum after that.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Prior to October 2000, the extremes were based on extremes of the daily maximum depth below land-surface datum. Since that date, the extremes are based on the instantaneous depth below land-surface datum. Highest water level, 7.88 ft below land-surface datum, Nov 17, 1972; lowest, 32.98 ft below land-surface datum, Nov 9, 10, 11, 1991.
