LOCATION - Lat 41°43'45.0", long 91°25'38.6" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 NE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.21, T.80 N., R.5 W., Johnson County, IA, Hydrologic Unit 07080209, 100 ft downstream on left bank from bridge on 280th Street located on a 10 foot tower, 1.5 miles southwest of Morse.
CLIMATOLOGICAL RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Precipitation records from March 1994 to current year. Prior to October 2014, published as "Rapid Creek below Morse, IA."
INSTRUMENTATION - Tipping-bucket rain gage.
