LOCATION - Lat 41°50'37", long 88°11'06" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SW 1/4 SW 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.23, T.39 N., R.9 E., Du Page County, IL, Hydrologic Unit 07120004, on Mack Road, 1 mi east of State Highway 59, and on north side of roof of Blackwell Forest Preserve maintenance building near Warrenville.
CLIMATOLOGICAL RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - PRECIPITATION: July 1997 to August 2013.
INSTRUMENTATION - Unheated tipping-bucket rain gage.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum daily total, 5.06 in., September 11, 2000.
REMARKS - Collection, computation, and publication of precipitation data do not necessarily conform to standards used by the National Weather Service.
