LOCATION - Lat 41°56'51", long 88°05'19" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SW 1/4 SW 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.15, T.40 N., R.10 E., Du Page County, IL, Hydrologic Unit 07120004, on service road, 300 ft south of Leslie Lane, and next to Bloomingdale lift station at Bloomingdale.
CLIMATOLOGICAL RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - PRECIPITATION: March 1990 to November 1995 and February 1997 to August 2011.
INSTRUMENTATION - Unheated tipping-bucket rain gage.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum daily total, 6.48 in., September 13, 2008.
EXTREMES FOR CURRENT YEAR - Maximum recorded daily total, 2.78 in., July 23.
REMARKS - Collection, computation, and publication of precipitation data do not necessarily conform to standards used by the National Weather Service.
