CLIMATOLOGICAL RECORDS

INSTRUMENTATION - Tipping bucket rain gage with electronic datalogger.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum daily rainfall, 2.00 in., Jun. 19, 2014.
REMARKS - WY2011 Precipitation.-- Data are recorded to the nearest minute in the datalogger. Rainfall estimated to be 0.00 on Nov. 28, Dec. 10, Feb. 1 & 6, Mar. 1, 3, 9, 12 and 24 because recorded precipitation was interpreted as collector snowmelt. Daily values for Oct. 1 to Nov. 9 estimated from nearby station 05408480 W. Fork Kickapoo River at Peaceful Valley Road near Cashton, WI. Daily values are marked as estimated on Apr. 6, 15-16, and 19-21 because recorded precipitation was interpreted as a combination of rainfall and some collector snowmelt. Remarks.--Records are good except for estimated days, which are fair. All unit values and daily values are stored in ADAPS WY2012 Precipitation.-- Data are recorded to the nearest minute in the datalogger.
