50053025 RIO TURABO ABOVE BORINQUEN, PR
LOCATION - Lat 18°09'44", long 66°02'24" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Caguas Municipio, PR, Hydrologic Unit 21010005, on left bank at State Road 765, 1.12 mi (1.8 km) south of Villa Borinquen, 1.35 mi (2.17 km), north from Mercedes Palma School, and 0.83 mi (1.34 km) east from Atravezada School on State Road 763.
DRAINAGE AREA - 7.16 mi², (18.5 km2).
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - January 1990 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder, satellite telemetry at station. Elevation of gage is 492 ft (150 m) above National Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGVD) of 1929, from topographic map. Prior to August 1999 station located at different site and datum, about 400 ft (121.9 m) upstream.
REMARKS - Diversion for public water supply located approximately 1.55 mi (2.49 Km) south from the station. Data from USGS Water Use Program revealed that the plant was in operation, at least from 1990, where 0.03 MGD (0.046 ft³/s) was withdrawn from the stream. In 1994, the plant was upgraded and thereafter 0.29 MGD (approximate to 0.45 ft³/s) is withdrawn.

PERIOD OF RECORD - October 21, 1995 to March 9, 2015; discontinued.
REMARKS - SEDIMENT DATA: October 1, 1989 to September 30, 2001; discontinued.
