SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - August 1, 1967 to December 31, 1973, June 1, 1983 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder, crest-stage gage, and satellite telemetry at station. Datum of gage is 263.4 ft. (80.3 m), above Puerto Rico Vertical Datum of 2002 (PRVD02). Elevation or datum of gage was previously reported as 275 ft. (84 m) above mean sea level and NGVD 29 and was established via topographic map and a new GNSS survey was used to establish a PRVD02 datum because the topographic map datum did not meet the new accuracy requirements.
REMARKS - Maximum peaks for period of July 2009 to August 2014 were known to have been higher due to an instrumentation deficiency found in 2014 in which the instrument did not compensate the rate of change during the rise due to water head problem. The exact amount of difference could not be established for each peak due to the lack of auxiliary instrumentation to validate them and therefore the peaks for the period should not be used.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 12, 1964 to November 14, 2004; discontinued.
PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD - SUSPENDED-SEDIMENT DISCHARGE: October 1, 1992 to September 30, 2003; discontinued.
