LOCATION - Lat 18°05'00.62", long 66°21'17.35" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Coamo Municipio, PR, Hydrologic Unit 21010004, on State Road 14 bridge, 0.8 mi (1.3 km) northeast from Parque Atlético, and 1.2 mi (1.9 km) southeast from WCPR Radio Antenna.
DRAINAGE AREA - 43.5 mi². (113 km2).
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - January 1987 to current year. Prior to September 2000, published as Río Coamo at Coamo, PR.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder, satellite telemetry at station. Elevation of gage is 328 ft (100 m), above National Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGDV) of 1929, from topographic map.
REMARKS - Low flow is affected by domestic discharges about 200 ft (65.6 m), upstream from gage.
