Higher flow measurements (1099, 1168, 1166) and recent measurements (1221\\u20131229) informed this rating. Cracks and holes in the weir allow water to pass below the crest. The segment between rating points 0.88 and 1.01 represents water levels at or below the crest, with all flow through cracks and holes. Since this is not a natural control, a slope of 5.64 is appropriate. From 1.01 to 1.68, flow is controlled by both the crest and seepage, an artificial control, so a slope of 9.35 is tolerated. Above 1.68, flow over the crest dominates, acting more like a section control. At 2.92 ft, the control becomes a combined section/channel control but never full channel control.
