LOCATION.--Lat 42°38'46", long 73°44'53"
referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Albany County, NY,
Hydrologic Unit 02020006, on right bank 0.1 mi upstream from bridge on
U.S. Highways 9 and 20 in Albany, and 0.7 mi downstream from railroad
bridge. Water-quality sampling site at elevation station.
DRAINAGE AREA.--8,288 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--October 1972 to September 1976, April 1981 to
current year.
REVISED RECORDS.--WDR NY-90-1: Drainage area.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is NGVD of 1929.
Prior to Feb. 27, 2002, at site 1,000 ft upstream at datum 10.00 ft
lower.
REMARKS.--Prior to October 2002 published as maximum, minimum,
and mean elevation. Blanks in tables are the result of only one high or
low tide during a day or interruption of record. Satellite and
telephone elevation and temperature telemeter at station.
