NGVD of 1929. Prior to June 25, 1974, at site 0.1 mi upstream at datum
676.90 ft above NGVD of 1929.
Records good except those for estimated daily
discharges, which are fair. Flow regulated by Canandaigua Lake (see
station 04234500), from which water is diverted for municipal supply by
villages of Newark, Palmyra, and Gorham. Monthly runoff adjusted for
change in contents in Canandaigua Lake from October 1945 to September
1966. Telephone gage-height telemeter at station.
